<description>The Nile is a origins in Burundi, south of the equator, and flows northward through northeastern Africa, eventually flowing through Egypt and finally draining into the Mediterranean Sea. It contributes with 16%, but this is a more steady flow. Without it, the river Nile would run dry in May. As there are many single contributors to the White Nile, it is a question of definition on where the Nile really starts.

		<description>Prof. Metwally,

I really enjoy your site. I am an avid Egyptology fan and have found your information here just fascinating. I am Canadian but have visited Egypt twice and look forward to visiting again.

I was wondering if you perhaps you have any information on the progress of the new museum project in Giza. There is hardly any information about it online...and their official site was a bit useless. Do you know if is now under construction?

Anyway, thanks again for such a wonderful site. Do keep up the good work.
